Multi centre Cuba holidays: Three WeeksIf you have three weeks to travel through Cuba, our Cuba holiday tips suggest that the one place you don't want to miss is Baracoa - the Cuban tropics. It's situated in a far-off, remote location, but if you have enough time you should spend at least three days there. We also recommend spending an extra day in Viñales in the Piñar del Rio tobacco region and especially in the colonial city of Trinidad. Your trip can also be extended to include western Cuban locations such as: the coffee region of Las Terrazas and the French heritage city of Cienfuegos. In eastern Cuba you can explore Cuba's largest mountain range during your stay in the Sierra Maestra. The finishing touch would be to end your Cuba holiday on the beaches of Playa Pesquero or after visiting Camaguey you could continue on to Santa Lucia, to go diving at Cuba's finest coral reefs.Cuba holiday tip: Transport Generally there's very little traffic on Cuban road; cities and beaches are easily accessible. Our local agent will provide you with information to help you have a safe and very diverse Cuban holiday. Multi centre Cuba holidays: AccommodationCuba Travel Plan will make reservations for you at hotels that reflect the style and atmosphere of the area you're visiting. We have personally visited each and every accommodation in each and every city and town on this website. Before we made our final selection, we evaluated many different accommodation options and finally made our decision based on value for price, location, comfort and atmosphere of the accommodation. If you travel to Trinidad for instance, you'll stay at a small-scale family bed & breakfast. If you plan on spending the night in a colonial city such as Havana or Santiago, we'll book a room for you in a centrally located, atmospheric colonial hotel. All accommodation in Cuba includes breakfast and occasionally other meals are included. One big difference between accommodation in Cuba and accommodation in other countries is that, due Cuba's communist regime all hotels are government owned and operated. Because of this the quality of the rooms, food and level of service sometimes resembles eastern European standards. Our Cuba holiday tip is to try and keep an open mind and go with the flow; it's all just a part of being in Cuba. More information is available on our Cuba accommodation page. |
